Very detailed descriptions of properties, local maps, FREE to landloards to post their rentals. Properties can remain online until ready to rent, then can be switched on with no need to reload informaton. Many properties can be kept online. This site also links to RHAGP web advertising site.

 Link To Craigs list Portland This site is worldwide and lists properties for FREE for 7 days. Register on this site to obtain an account and then you can repost ads daily to get add to show at top of date list. Over 5,000 properties are currently listed in the portland area. Make sure to add the 4 pictures allowed. Craigs list also allows additional HTML code to be added for more details, or links to landlords properties web sites so you can put more pictures of your property hosted from your Internet Service Provider . If you have a web site you can link from Craigs list to your web site for more details. Craigs list seems to be where mose of the advertising action is as it is city specific, worldwide and free. Rentals or housing for sale can be posted to Craigs list (or anything else for sale).

 Link To Oregon Live and the Oregonian This links to Local Oregonian Newspaper and Oregon Live web site. You can put one picture on Oregon live web site. A one week 7 day 3 line ad in the Oregonian and Oregonlive web site is about $93 per week.

 Link To PORTLANDMAPS.COM This links to the City of Portland GIS web site that show many details about property incuding tax records and tax history, survey maps, tax lot maps, market value, lot dimensions, property improvements, permits, inside details of house such as year constructed square footage of each floor gagage, utility connections, local transit maps and bus routes & stops, census maps,crime statistics, aerial photos, elevation maps, hazard zones and many more. Quite an amazing site.

  WWW.Zillow.com This site shows aerial views of property, comparable market values, and links to the City of Portland GIS (Geographical Information System) database for properties so you can see each properties market value, tax information, and internal house size and construction, year built and other data, This links into www.portlandmaps.com listed above for the specific property data.Quite an amazing site. Good site to see what your property is worth.

 Link To a RHAGP members web site for example of detailed web advertising. This links a sample web site which is linked to from Craigs list, Oregon Live, RHAGP web site and Housing Connections web site. Extensve use of house internal and external digital photos, interactive Google maps, satellite photos, and community links. This site also has hit counter that tracks usage by prospective tenants. In one 4 week period this site was seen by over 500 people looking for housing in Portland. This site was built on Comcast the members ISP (Internet Service Provide). Any ISP you have offers free web space to put your renta l.

Tenants like detailed pictures rather than driving. Digital photos should be downsized to about 50K for web use. More information will be added for property owners to build web sites. 70% of Portland households are connected to the internet according to housing connections organization so this is a quick cheap way at a low cost to advertise.
