The Rental Housing Association OF Greater Portland (RHAGP)

The Rental Housing Association OF Greater Portland (RHAGP) as been working for the rental housing industry since 1927 with a constructive record of accomplishment. Through its varied activities, it has been a strong voice for rental housing . . . potent, alert, and effective.

Only through organized effort can the interests of individual owners and professional property managers be properly served and protected.When you join RHA, you become a member of the Oregon Rental Housing Association (ORHA), our statewide association.

ORHA is a vital force representing you in Salem. It publishes up-to-date, court-tested management forms (revisions every two years to comply with revised Oregon statutes), employs lobbyists, holds regional seminars, sponsors legislative day in Salem, and hosts an annual state convention for rental owners.

Vital services RHA provides:

• Current information regarding the effects of new and proposed legislation that may affect the operation of your property.

• Enhanced reputations for "landlords" in the community especially with various government agencies with whom RHA has been actively working to find solutions to community housing problems.

• Currently revised rental management forms that comply with all aspects of law.

• Workshops, seminars and monthly meetings that are economical and informative on a variety of subjects of interest to those involved in the rental industry.

• Efficient, low cost tenant screening services for members.

• Monthly publications that are filled with news and information pertinent to the rental industry.

• Annual Trade Show to introduce our rental owner/operator members to our members who provide service to the industry.

• How-to-manuals which interpret the landlord/tenant law and instruct on the use of forms.
